In 1952, after being sent home by his doctors to die, Lester realized two TRUTHS that literally saved his life.

The first is that his own feelings were the cause of all of his problems, and not the world or the people in it, as he had previously thought. He also realized his own negative feelings were what he had struggled so hard and long against. And, this struggle was what had destroyed his health and caused him to suffer in every way.

The second truth is he discovered he had the inborn ability to let go of his negative feelings. He discovered how to completely discharge them and suppressing, coping and venting as he had previously done, he discovered how to totally release them. This put an end to his struggle! A reevaluation

As I first started reading this title, my mind boggled at its poor writing. The droning, endless repetition seemed to indicate a lack of insight and even intelligence. After applying the book's content to my life, however, I have been forced to reevaluate my opinions entirely. Why? It's because this book is well and truly effective. The constant reiteration of words, phrases, and materials is an object lesson in how to use the knowledge of this book to improve your life. Simply reading through this book won't help anyone. Using the many simple suggestions in this book again and again and again is transforming.

Bravo to the authors of this work for caring more about helping people than impressing them with literary prose.

All-Around Excellent: Fast, Practical and On-Point

This title continues the tradition of excellent books by Mr. Marchioni. The author manages to strike the delicate balance between providing enough detail for the reader to understand both 'how' and 'why' of a given subject and still moving along briskly.

All Java EE technologies are covered and the coverage is uniformly superb. I wish the chapter on testing with Arquillian were more in-depth, specifically in the context of WildFly, usage of available adapters.

I highly recommend this book for anyone wishing to get a quick practical start on Java EE 7. If you are coming from Java EE 5/6, this is a great source of 'what's changed' coverage.

It's a nice book and it deserves 5 stars! But I don't agree about this paragraph «Creating the word factory : The word factory is going to be an @ApplicationScoped Bean. This means that the generated word is shared between several players. ..... be @SessionScoped and implement the Serializable interface».
It is not true : in @ApplicationScoped, only the same instance Bean is shared between several players and not the the same generated word.

This is the very first book for developing Java EE application on Wildfly. It should be developer’s handbook, since you don’t have a lot of options. The examples, from this book, actually work. A good guide, if a bit pedantic

This text is being used for my Advanced Business Communications course at a college that has an equal number of traditional and non-traditional students. The information provided in the book is good, but the tone is not appropriate for anyone who has work experience. There are many statements about how "life is different after college". The majority of people taking this course are non-traditionals who are very aware that there is a difference between school and work. Also, considering that the subject matter is communications, there are an inordinate number of grammatical and typographical errors. I would recommend this book to for a course targeted at introductory level business students in a traditional college setting, but not for experienced non-traditional students. I would recommend that the authors place more emphasis on editing their own work in the next edition. Some of the errors make it very difficult to interpret what they are trying to say and slow down the reading process.

Does Not Cover The Full Scope of Technical Writing

This book was a required text for an introductory Technical Writing course. I would not have purchased it otherwise. The emphasis of the book is on writing standard business reports and does not cover the full scope of modern Technical Writing. (no white papers, no procedural manuals, no scientific articles, etc.)

The book is wordy and poorly organized. Several editing errors were spotted.

I personally feel there are far better references than this for technical writing.

Its okay, but wouldn't have bought it if I didn't need it.

The book was required for a Junior level course I'm taking at a local college and that is why I bought it. My personal opinion is that there were too many writers on this book. It is poorly organization and broke some of the basic rules in writing a reference book, such as referencing various studies without actually providing the citation for the study.

I personally feel there are far better references than this one for technical writing.

Worth a read

This book is brimming with candid writing from all four girls about their childhood, families, relationships, and artistic struggles before The X Factor, as well as insights into their time on the reality TV show, and what it was like to be thrust into the limelight and beyond. It gave context to why their bond is so strong, and the humanity behind their pop-stardom. Loved it.
